Scoring Rules
Learn how your performance is evaluated in our league. Understanding the scoring system is crucial for tracking your progress and improving your game.
- League will be 14 weeks based on the published schedule
- Tournament formats will be either rebuys or freezeouts with varying buy-ins
- Each league participant will pay $200 upfront to play in the league
- The season winner is the winner after all regulation tournaments (14 weeks). The top 3 finishers in the standings will receive as a prize the following percentages of all $200 upfront buy-ins (50% of the pot to 1st; 30% to 2nd; 20% to 3rd)
- The top 8 players as determined by points will be guaranteed spots in the Final 9 Invitational after the last week of the season for free, all with equal chip counts
- Last Man In: The 2 points leader over the final 6 weeks of the season that are NOT already in the season’s top 8 will play heads up to get the last Final 9 slot
- 10% of each entry through the league year will be set aside for the Final 9 Invitational to be held as a freeroll. The Final 9 Invitational will pay out top 3 spots (50% to 1st; 30% to 2nd; 20% to 3rd)
- All is subject to change by the PLIA Committee
- Each finisher receives points based on the number of individuals in the tournament minus their finishing spot +1 (1st place finisher in a 7 person tourney receives 7 points, etc.)
- 1st place receives 3 extra points, 2nd receives 2 extra points, 3 receives 1 extra point
- 2 lowest scores of the 14 weeks will be dropped

We will pay out the top 3 spots in each weekly tournament:
- 50% to 1st
- 30% to 2nd
- 20% to 3rd
